Upcoming Events...Out to Lunch, Kick Ball, Mission Trip!
1) Out to Lunch - Sunday, November 6
We are going to Taco Cabana on Little Road after the late service.
2) Picnic Lunch and Kickball tournament - Saturday, November 26, at 1:00
We will have a picnic at Veterans Park. Sandwiches and drinks will be provided. Bring some kind of leftovers (chips, desserts, etc.) to share.
After we eat, we will have the first ever Annual Young Adult Kickball Tournament!
3) Winter Mission Trip - To Mineral Wells, January 1-7
Cost $150 per person (Less if you work the fundraisers) Registration is limited, pick up a registration form from Michelle or Aleta Duran.

Other News
It has been suggested that we change the "Third Thursday Thing" to twice a month. In addition to an event on the 3rd Thursday of every month, we will also try to do an event on Saturdays. Let us know your suggestions of other events we can plan!
Also we are thinking of starting up a Young Adult Bible Study - Stay tuned for details!
New Sunday School Class for Couples in their 20's!
A class for young married or recently engaged couples who wish to explore their faith at a deeper level, have fellowship with other couples and deepen their relationships with Christ through Christian friendships, Bible study and outreach.
Facilitated by John and Kay Petersen, this class will encourage couples to form a strong Christian foundation which will guide them through the beginning stages of marriage and family life. Sundays at 9:30AM in room E-212

Consider Being a YOUTH Sponsor
Now being a part of the the Crossroads Sunday School class, you most likely grew up at St Barnabas. You remember going to Youth Group every Sunday night and how much you enjoyed all the events. One event that happens every year is the Jr/Sr High Mission Trips!
For every youth member that attends, there are adult sponsors that go with them. Now YOU can become one of them! consider volunteering with our church's Youth in their events.

- Junior High Mission Trip
This is the yearly trip that members of the the Jr High youth group attend. They will go to a location locally within the CTCYM conference, and aid in constructing and rebuilding of in-need homes. - Senior High Mission Trip
This is the yearly trip that members of the the High School youth group attend. They will be going to the Texas Galveston/Louisiana coastline helping with reconstructing and rebuilding of in-need homes.
The great thing about helping out with these mission trips is they're FREE TO SPONSOR!
